The Elections Commission

The 2010 Student Assembly General Election will be held on Wednesday, March 31!  The following offices will be up for election:

Executive (candidates run as one ticket):

• President and Vice President of the Student Assembly

Senate:

• (4) Senators for the Class of 2013

• (4) Senators for the Class of 2012

• (4) Senators for the Class of 2011

Undergraduate Council (5 positions per social class):

• President of the Classes of 2013, 2012, and 2011

• Vice President for Advocacy of the Classes of 2013, 2012, and 2011

• Vice President for Social Affairs of the Classes of 2013, 2012, and 2011

• Teasurer of the Classes of 2013, 2012, and 2011

• Secretary of the Classes of 2013, 2012, and 2011

If you'd like to run for office, you must first attend one of the mandatory information sessions to be held.  (Please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it prior to March 18th if you cannot attend in order to schedule a make-up session.)  The Commission has scheduled the following dates for Information Sessions:

• Wednesday, March 17th, 2010, 8:00 pm - Tyler 102

• Thursday, March 18th, 2010, 8:00PM - Tyler 102

After attending one of these information sessions, you must complete the Declaration of Candidacy form to be considered a candidate.  This form can be found under the Forms and Documents section on the left-hand side of your screen.
